As you know, the usual Torres Vedras Schools Carnival Parade will take place on Friday the 28th of February 2025. In this context, we suggest that parents who want their children (starting in the P3 classroom) to take part in the parade adopt a costume alluding to the theme ‘Freedom – 50 years of the 25th of April’ (models on display at the school entrance).
If you wish, you can go to the ‘Planeta dos Tecidos’ shop in Torres Vedras and say that you need fabric for the Escola Internacional de Torres Vedras costume, which costs around 28 euros (girls) and 24 euros (boys).
Each parent/guardian is free to make the costume wherever they like. If you need a costume, please contact the seamstress Luciene (very close to the Tecidos shop): 911 945 061. The cost of the costume is around 25 euros (girls) and 30 euros (boys), with a discount if you have siblings and does not include the headband (a separate price).
We also ask that the proposed footwear be respected: white trainers.
Note: The Carnival operation will cost €10. If you authorise your child to take part in the Carnival Parade, this amount will be charged together with the March invoice. Please register using this link by January 24th 2025.
