Field Trip to Bruton and London (Year 9 and 10)

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming study trip for our students that promises to be both educational and enriching! As part of our commitment to providing immersive learning experiences, we have organized a study trip to Bruton, with a day trip to London. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to enhance their English skills, explore new places, and bond with their classmates.

Trip Programme

(Minimum participants 15 – Maximum 25)

  • Destination: Bruton with a one-day visit to London
  • Dates: 23rd-30th July 2025 Wednesday to Wednesday (7 nights)
  • Accommodation: Students will stay at the Bruton campus, which offers a safe and comfortable environment for learning and various activities.
Price1450 Euros per student (includes accommodation, meals, activities, flight, insurance, transfer, excursion to London, English lessons + certificate + 2 group leaders + local staff
FacilitiesTennis courts, Sports hall, theatre, arts and crafts studio as well as extensive playing fields and other recreational areas.
No Damage DepositParents’ Responsibility Statement
CertificateAt the end of the course, each student will be awarded a certificate.
Transfer to and from BrutonIncluded (minimum students 15)

Itinerary Highlights

  1. English Classes: Students will participate in daily English lessons designed to improve their language proficiency through engaging and interactive sessions. In the morning (except on the excursion date)
  2. Activities and Workshops: A variety of fun activities will be organized to foster teamwork and creativity.
  3. Exploring Bruton: The students will have the chance to explore the charming town of Bruton, its rich history, and beautiful surroundings.
  4. Day Trip to London: Students will spend a full day in London

Key Details

  • Departure & Return Times: 23rd early morning – 30th afternoon
  • Meeting Point: Humberto Delgado Airport
  • Travel: the group will flight together to England, Heathrow, with two teachers/group leaders)
  • Meals: All meals will be provided during the trip, including packed lunches for the day in London.
  • Supervision: There will be local staff to support the teacher(s).

What to Bring

Please ensure that your child brings:

  • Passport
  • Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking
  • A small backpack for day trips
  • Personal toiletries
  • Any necessary medication (with instructions)
  • A refillable water bottle
  • Optional: Revolut card for souvenirs

Next Steps

  • Please complete and return the permission slip by 15th of January.
  • A first meeting will be held on Monday, the 13th of January, at 17:00 to answer any questions you may have.
