The school is currently awaiting an update from the Câmara Municipal de Torres Vedras regarding whether we will open tomorrow. At this stage, we are assuming that the school will open as normal.
However, due to significant disruption to road routes, the bus service will be suspended for the entire day on Friday. According to the latest updates, all routes are, at different points, either cut off, flooded, or affected by unstable ground. As we have a duty of care towards our students and drivers/auxiliaries, we do not want to risk using unfamiliar or potentially unsafe alternative routes.
If the school is open, we kindly ask parents to drop off and collect their children from school.
If the Câmara Municipal announces that the school should remain closed, teachers will, as they did today, send work for classes to complete and submit through Teams.
