The ‘European School Sport Day’, part of ‘European Week of Sport’, takes place every year in the last week of September. This initiative, which has been running since 2015, aims to promote sport and physical activity in Europe through a wide range of activities aimed at the entire population, regardless of age or fitness level.
Given that children and young people acquire the foundations of their motor skills and adopt healthy lifestyle habits at this stage of their lives, European Week of Sport in Portugal has a day reserved exclusively for schools, European School Sport Day, as is the case in 42 other countries.
This year, this date will be celebrated on September 26th.
EITV will once again be associated with this initiative, having invited Sport Clube União Torreense to promote the activities that will take place throughout the day in our school’s sports facilities.
Note: To participate in the activities, all students must wear EITV Physical Education equipment.
