We inform you that, within the scope of the Learn More Now plan, from the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, presented in September 2024 and which has as its priority the improvement of the learning of all students, a reading fluency diagnostic test will be carried out for students in the 2nd year of schooling.
This diagnosis will be carried out on June 11th, in the classroom and in the usual learning context, by the class teacher.
It is important to note that this is a diagnostic assessment and therefore will not imply any grading. The exercise consists of a brief 1-minute reading of a given number of words in a text, with the aim of monitoring reading speed (number of words read per minute) and accuracy (number of reading errors), thus contributing to more effective monitoring of students' progress.
