The "European School Sport Day," part of the "European Sports Week," takes place annually during the last week of September. This initiative, developed since 2015, aims to promote sport and physical activity in Europe through a wide range of activities aimed at the entire population, regardless of age or fitness level.
Taking into account that children and young people acquire, at this stage of life, the foundations of their motor literacy and adopt healthy lifestyle habits, the European Week of Sport in Portugal has a day reserved exclusively for Schools, the European Day of Sport at School, as is the case in 42 other countries.
This year, this date will be celebrated on September 26th.
EITV will once again join this initiative, having invited the Sport Club União Torreense to promote the activities that will take place throughout the day in our school's sports facilities
Note: To participate in activities, all students must use EITV Physical Education equipment.
